The project to pave streets and improve sanitation in the communes of Kandi and Savalou, and to build a ridge sewer in Bohicon aims to improve the living environment and traffic conditions in these three (03) communes. The works related to this project include the structural and service streets in the main districts of the said communes and the construction of a 16 km long open-air earth collector, partially lined for the northern sanitation of the city of Bohicon. The project is underpinned by the following considerations: insufficient roads and sanitation facilities, the need to improve the living environment and traffic in the 3 communes, and it’s inclusion in the Government’s Priority Action Program (PAP) and contribution to the implementation of the decentralization policy.
